Certificate in the Psychological Aspects of Homeland Security.
Created in cooperation with and under the direction of the Technical Support
Working Group (TSWG), the Certificate Program in the Psychological Aspects
of Terrorism and Homeland Security at Saint Joseph’s University was
designed for professionals who are involved in the planning, management,
response, and aftercare associated with emergency incidents including domestic
and foreign terrorism. The certificate program is further applicable to
those individuals who scholarly pursue the study of psychology as it applies
to terrorism and emergency response.
The TSWG is the U.S. national forum that identifies, prioritizes, and coordinates
interagency and international research and development requirements for
combating terrorism. The TSWG rapidly develops technologies and equipment
to meet the high-priority needs of the combating terrorism community, and
addresses joint international operational requirements through cooperative
research and development with major allies.

Program in Food Protection and Homeland Security at Saint Joseph’s
University was designed for professionals who are involved in the food
industry from “farm-to-fork”. In addition to providing training
to federal, state, and local governments in preparation for acts of terrorism
aimed at food, this program is also designed train those in the private
sector of the food industry to prepare and respond to food terrorist incidents.
The certificate program is further applicable to those individuals who
scholarly pursue the study of food science and marketing as it applies
to terrorism and emergency response.

The FDA promotes public health by promptly and efficiently reviewing clinical
research and taking appropriate action on the marketing of regulated products
in a timely manner;
With respect to food, FDA protects the public health by ensuring that foods
are safe, wholesome, sanitary, and properly labeled and there is reasonable
assurance of the safety and effectiveness of food intended for human use.
