American Psychological Association (APA)


ERDLC is sponsored by the Department of Psychology at Saint Joseph's University and by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education credits for psychologists. The Department of Psychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

The APA is the largest and most prestigious organization in the United States. It's purpose is to advance psychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare by:


  • Promoting research in psychology and improving research methods and conditions;
  • Continually improving the qualifications and competence of psychologists through high standards of ethical conduct, education, and achievement;
  • Disseminating psychological knowledge through meetings, psychological journals, books, and special reports.

 

International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)


ERDLC has been reviewed and approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1620 I Street, NW, Suite 615, Washington, DC 20006.

The International Association for Continuing Education and Training is a non-profit association dedicated to quality continuing education and training programs. IACET certifies education providers that meet strict continuing education guidelines created in 1968. IACET certification is the standard learners seek for quality. IACET's Criteria and Guidelines are the core of thousands of educational programs worldwide.
